It's been five years since we last got a studio album from The Dream (IV Play, 2013), but on December 21,2018 he blessed us with Ménage à Trois: Sextape Vol. 1-3; a 3 volume album, 38 tracks, with NO FEATURES. (Genesis in 2016 was technically a visual album and Love You to Death also in 2016 was an EP).

While he hasn't been on the forefront of things, Terius Nash has been keeping busy. Writing and working alongside artists such as Beyonce, Celine Dion, Jay-Z, Pusha T & Nipsey Hussle to name a few, he even has his hand in some fast food franchises. With the most recent conversation sparking controversy, "Who is the King of R&B?" this album comes at the perfect time. Although his intention was not to be crowned King, I think this album truly exemplifies his outstanding talent and well roundedness. Let's be real, The Dream hasn't made a "bad" project in his career, and even his "weakest" tracks (IF any) are still better than other artist's best.

38 tracks may seem like a lot for some to dig through, however, I was beyond excited to dive into it. So for those of you that don't have the patience to listen to 38 tracks and pick the ones you like, I've done it for you. Below I've listed my go-to's and some honorable mentions from each volume.

Volume 1:

#4. "Challenger" - sampled himself, off his last album IV Play, track is called "Equestrian"

#9. "Platter" - sexy track

*#10. "Top"- GO TO!! 3rd favorite track on the album

#13. "It's Your Birthday" - honorable mention

Volume 2:

#1. "Temptation" - great little introduction to vol. 2

*#2. "Bedroom" - GO TO!!

#3. "NDA" - honorable mention

#5. "Pull Out" - honorable mention

#7. "Gorgeous" - quintessential Dream track, very reminiscent of his "Love vs. Money" album

#8. "Make It Rain"- honorable mention, sexy track, always forget I like it. it's a surprise every time.

#11. "Rise" - sexy track

Volume 3:

*#2. "Drop Some New Shit" - GO TO!! 2nd favorite track on the album

#3. "Super Soaker" - GO TO!! another sexy track

*#6. "Human Beings" - LOVEEEEEE! 4th favorite track on the album

#8 "The Paris of the West" - love this one too, jiggy lil track. could also hear Chris Brown on this track

#9. "Nikki's Dialogue" - if you've been following The Dream since 2007 then you're familiar with his "Nikki" tracks, so naturally I had to mention this one, I like the continuation of the Nikki story.

#13. "U Got a Fan" - more of an upbeat song, really grew on me. good track to play in the whip

*#14. "Body Fall" - this is probably my #1 FAVORITE track on the entire album, its sexy, catchy, and creates a dope vibe. love the hook.

Almost a month after its release and this is still the only album I'm listening to. I didn't think I had a favorite volume but after writing up this list, I noticed that I do tend to head straight to volume 3. One of my favorite things about this album is that this is all brand new material from The Dream, none of the tracks included on these volumes come from his vault (although he does have at least 2 full length albums hidden away as well). 38 tracks, NO features, and he even sampled himself; it shows what a great creator The Dream truly is. He can take five years off from his own music, and pop back up on the scene stronger than ever without missing a beat. This album has enough material for everyone to find something they like, as per usual Terius Nash does not disappoint and this project is definitely worth the time. Glad to have you back, Radio Killa.
